Anonymous asked: What are some stretches to become more flexible !
So sorry this is so late.
I am not a professional, but I would personally recommend 10-30 minutes a day. No ballistic stretching and don’t overdo it. Keep comfortable, be patient, and keep at it. It will take time but results will happen eventually. Since yoga poses are really good stretches, I included a lot. These are not all the stretches and poses you can do, by far, but they’re just a few that can help.
Back/Spinal Cord:
- Knee to Chest
- Bridge Pose
- Camel Pose
- Parivta Parsvakonosana
- Upward Bow, Upward Wheel
- Spinal Twist (either lying or sitting)
Leg:
- Downward Dog
- Padangusthasana (typical toe touches)
- High lunge (calf stretch)
- Viparita Karani
- Extended Triangle
- Typical Baddha Konosana
- These
- Hamstring stretch (runner’s stretch)
- Upavistha Konsana (take it easy)
Stomach:
- Bow Pose
- Cobra Pose
Arms:
Keep at it and don’t give up!
